I’m Elijah, a 10-year-old entrepreneur, the founder and chief candle & soap maker at Candles and Things. I have been making candles & soap, with the help of my mom, since the beginning of 2020. I started with a little candle & soap kit and I’ve been growing steady ever since.
We use Aloe Vera and Shea Butter as the base for our soaps. One of benefits of Aloe Vera is it's cooling and soothing properties. Aloe Vera is a natural antiseptic, which soothes any kind of inflammation or irritation of the skin.
Shea butter moisturizes without clogging pores. It's 100% natural with no chemicals. It's safe for babies and sensitive skin.
Our soaps are gentle enough to use on the face and body!
Scented candles can induce calm and help to alleviate symptoms of stress, with the ability to lower cortisol. Certain candles are crafted specifically to activate chemicals in the brain, like serotonin and dopamine, to support a positive mood.
